Personal events have led me to create a reliable response. Every second counts after an accident and knowing this firsthand has inspired me to start WeRescue.
Back in 2012 I was involved in a motorcycle accident. I swerved off the highway and crashed into the road rail leaving my bike pinned underneath. Luckily I only ended up with a few scrapes and bruises. My bike however, was ruined beyond repair. Two other riders found me about 10 minutes later. If these friends were not out with me that day it could have taken much longer to be found.
Following this event a good friend of mine had a terrible, life changing accident on his motorcycle. While riding his bike down the highway in France, a car side swiped him and the driver decided to leave my friend injured and in critical condition on the side of the road. It took 30 minutes for emergency to come to his rescue. My friend was hospitalized and fell into a coma for 6 months. Thankfully he made it out alive and still rides today.
